The family’s escape attempt was almost foiled by the border guards, who were equipped with powerful weapons and advanced surveillance equipment. Despite the odds stacked against them, the family managed to evade capture and make their way towards the South Korean border.
As the family approached the South Korean border, they were intercepted by South Korean border guards, who quickly came to their aid. The South Korean guards engaged in a fierce struggle with the North Korean border guards, providing cover for the family to safely cross into South Korea.
After a harrowing ordeal, the family was finally able to reach safety in South Korea, where they were met with open arms and assistance from authorities. The family’s courageous escape serves as a powerful reminder of the lengths that many North Koreans are willing to go to in order to seek freedom and a better future.
Their story is just one of many that highlights the harsh realities faced by those living under the oppressive regime in North Korea. Despite the risks and dangers involved, many North Koreans continue to risk everything in search of a better life outside of their homeland.
As we celebrate the bravery and determination of this family, let us also remember the countless others who are still trapped in North Korea, longing for the day when they too can finally break free and start anew. The journey to freedom may be treacherous, but for many North Koreans, it is a risk worth taking in order to escape the oppressive regime that controls their every move.

김성민씨 안색이 안좋아 마음이 안좋네요. 김이혁씨 순탄치는 않겠지만 남한에서 성공하시길 바랍니다. 저희 부모님도 6.25때 피난 내려와 자수성가 하셨습니다. 지금은 다 돌아가셨지만 자존심 강하고 생활력이 강해서 2남3녀 다 훌륭하게 키우셨습니다.
